Karate Australia, November Strategic Goals

  1. Drive inclusive participation nationwide
    Increase visibility and access for women, people with disabilities, and participants from diverse cultural and regional backgrounds through targeted campaigns and community programs.
  2. Showcase national programs and pathways
    Promote awareness of key Karate Australia initiatives such as Guardian Girls, Junior Pathways, and Coach and Referee Development, ensuring each has a strong content and communications push across all channels.
  3. Strengthen Karate Australia national identity
    Build consistent national messaging that positions Karate Australia as the official, trusted governing body representing the sport from grassroots to elite, reinforcing alignment with the World Karate Federation and the Australian Sports Commission.
  4. Amplify national and state partnerships
    Deepen collaboration with AIS, state associations, and key external partners to unify campaigns, increase funding and participation, and highlight collective impact across the karate ecosystem.
  5. Prepare and promote athletes for major events
    Support and publicise national squad preparation for upcoming domestic and international competitions through performance storytelling, media coverage, and recognition of athlete milestones.
